1. Introduction
These Terms govern use of Inception, operated by Rocket Rod LLC (California). By accessing or using the Inception platform, you indicate your agreement to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. About Inception
Inception is a platform where creative freelancers and small business owners can showcase their work, connect with potential clients and collaborators, and grow their brands through short-form video content.
3. Eligibility and Account Creation
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account on Inception. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this minimum age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
4. Prohibited Content and Services
Users may not post:
- Adult or explicit material
- Hate speech, harassment, or violent content
- Illegal products or services
- AI-generated content without disclosure
- Anything that violates applicable laws
5. Account Deletion
Account deletion requests must be made via support. Upon deletion, your account data will be removed from our active systems. Some data may be retained for compliance, legal, and security purposes as required by law.
6. Communications
By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional emails related to your account and activity on the platform. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in those communications.
7. Limitation of Liability
Rocket Rod LLC is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the platform. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
Creators retain intellectual property rights to their content unless otherwise agreed. By posting content on Inception, you grant the platform a limited license to display and distribute your content within the service. Inception is not liable for intellectual property disputes between users.
9. Copyright & Intellectual Property
Inception respects the intellectual property rights of others and strictly prohibits the monetization, distribution, or sharing of copyright-infringing content on the platform.
Users may not upload, post, share, distribute, sell, monetize, or otherwise exploit any content that infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, or other intellectual property rights of any individual or entity. This includes unauthorized use of videos, music, images, logos, designs, written content, or any other protected material.
Inception reserves the right to remove any content believed to violate intellectual property laws or these Terms of Service, with or without prior notice.
If you believe content on Inception infringes your intellectual property rights, you may submit a report or takedown request by contacting us at inceptionteam@inceptionpartner.com or through our in-app reporting tools. Reports should include sufficient detail to identify the allegedly infringing content and establish ownership or authorization.
10. Reporting & Takedown Procedures
Inception provides functionality that allows users, rights holders, and other affected parties to report content that may violate these Terms of Service, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable laws.
Users may report content directly within the platform using the reporting features available on posts, profiles, messages, or other user-generated content. Inception reviews reports and may investigate, restrict, remove, or disable access to content that violates our policies.
Inception also complies with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws, including responding to valid takedown notices submitted by rights holders or authorized representatives.
11. Repeat Violator Policy
Inception maintains a policy for addressing repeat violations of these Terms of Service and our Acceptable Use Policy.
Users who repeatedly upload, share, monetize, or otherwise engage in prohibited or infringing activity may face enforcement actions including, but not limited to:
- Content removal
- Temporary account restrictions
- Suspension of monetization features
- Permanent account suspension or termination
- Restriction from creating future accounts
Inception reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, what constitutes a repeat violation and the appropriate enforcement action.
12. Account Suspension or Removal
We may suspend or remove accounts at our discretion for violations of these Terms, abusive behavior, or any other reason we deem necessary to protect the platform and its users.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal disputes arising from or related to these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
CSAE Safety Standards
1. Prohibited Content & Behavior
Inception strictly prohibits any content, activity, or behavior that involves, depicts, or promotes child exploitation, sexualized content involving minors, grooming, or CSAE distribution. Violations result in immediate removal and potential law enforcement reporting.
2. Detection & Reporting
The platform monitors through user reports, automated systems, and manual review. Suspicious activity can be reported via the app or at inceptionteam@inceptionpartner.com.
3. Safety of Minors
No minor may appear in exploitative content. Adults cannot solicit minors through the platform. Circumventing age restrictions triggers enforcement action.
4. Enforcement Actions
Responses include account suspension, content removal, device blocking, and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or law enforcement.
5. Developer Identity & Responsibility
These safety standards are maintained by Rocket Rod Media LLC, the app developer.
